- One-third (1/3) of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong response. Accordingly, if a question is worth three points, an inaccurate response will result in a mark deduction of one point.
- Multiple circles being filled in an OMR sheet for the same question will be regarded as an incorrect response.
- Leaving a question blank will not result in a negative marking.
Candidates should use caution when answering questions on the UPPCS exam and refrain from guessing, as doing so could result in a score reduction and negative marking. It is advised to only attempt questions for which they are certain of the solution.
