1. What is UPSSSC?

  • UPSSSC was established in 1988 to conduct recruitment exams for state government departments.

3. UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET)

PET is the first level of examination conducted by UPSSSC, introduced as a preliminary screening test. Once a candidate clears PET, they can apply for various Group C exams.

(a) PET Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: Generally, candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age (age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories).

(b) PET Exam Pattern:

  • The PET exam is objective-type with 100 questions for 100 marks.

  • Syllabus:
